TitleWave is a NetObjects Fusion v4/5/MX/7 component which turns your
page titles into history navigation lists. Place the component in the Masterborder,
and all your pages will have a title showing the current page name relative to
its parent pages in the site structure. The following is an example:
Often times the title of a page means very little unless you consider its position
in the Site View. For instance, your site might have several pages called 'Products'
with each of these pages in its own section. One might be in the Software section
and one might be in the Hardware section. Unless you use custom names, NetObjects
Fusion will make the title on both of these pages as 'Products'
TitleWave would construct the titles of these two pages as follows:
'Home : Hardware : Products'
'Home : Software : Products'
A description page title very important because it
- shows up on the top of the page
- is printed when the user prints the page
- is the text used in the browser's History listing
- is used by many search engines
Features of the TitleWave include:
- Choice of using Banner, Button, or Page Name as the name of the pages in
the title.
- Set custom separator between page names (for instance you can set :, /,
>>, or whatever text you want)
- Option to insert fixed text at the beginning of title.
