TextTree is a NetObjects Fusion v4/5/MX/7 component that allows you to create a cool hierarchical navigation tree for your websites. The component is placed in Fusion's masterborder and produces a unique set of links and buttons for each page in the site.
The navigation element is constructed so that each page has a link to all of its parent pages, all of its current level pages, all of its child pages, and
all of the top-level pages in the site. Links can be displayed with text or graphical icons representing different types of pages.
While LinkMaster lets you select one or all of these elements to be placed in a list or
dropdown, TextTree always shows the current page relative to the entire site. The output is not just a text list, but a custom formatted tree representation.
Features of the TextTree include:
- An MS Explorer looking navigation element whose structure is drawn from the site view set-up.
- Pages show links to all their related pages
- Specify pages to ignore - Link management schemes often don't work out because there are just some pages you don't want to include as hot links. With TextTree all you have to do is put these pages in a list and they will
not show up on any page.
- Graphical icons or text to represent current page, open folders, closed folders, and not-selected pages.
- Customizable indents, and font name and sizing.
- Optional use of FauxGraphic to format text.
