RemoteControl is a NetObjects Fusion v4/5/MX/7 component which allows you to gain total
control over the behavior of your popup windows. Place one or more components
on the page to contol link behavior and/or the behavior of the window itself as
it is selected, minimized, and closed.
Remote Control functions in two modes - hidden and link. In the hidden mode,
you select an event such as Opened, Closed, Activated, and Deactivated. For
each event, you assign an action such as set location, change color, or close
and open. The actions can be for both the popup and the base window.
One of the most exciting features of Remote Control is that you can set up
a Remote Control window which pops up and stays on top of the main window. You
can click on the popup to change the main menu. User orientation has never been
better!
RemoteControl has the following features:
- Place as many as you want on the page
- Set up links that can change location of both the popup and the base window
that opened the popup
- Set up hidden window behavior like popping to the top when it is opened
(but hidden in the status bar), closing itself when it is no longer needed
- Can be used to change color of parent window to focus users more clearly
on the popup
