The
Rollover component was one of the first components coolmaps.com
ever made for Fusion.
Rollover
5.0 lets you create and customize rollover graphics (images
that change as the mouse passes over it) quickly and easily
from the Properties Palette.
Rollover
5.0 can be purchased right here
at the site!
Can

navigation panel at the top right was created using RollOver

- Click
on 'Components in Action' to the right. A window will open
with links to sites using RollOver 5.0 as well as other
coolmaps.com components
- Play
The Challenge,
or The ShowDown, two
fun strategy games created with RollOver 5.0
What
are it's features in detail and where can I learn more about
RollOver 5.0?
Browse
through the below feature list, and be sure to vist the RollOver
Tutorial. You can also download
a tutorial movie (1.8meg) showing how to target external
images.
- Create
external RollOver's - not only can you change the component's
own image, but you can also change the images of other graphics
on the page.
- Control
the Alt-Tag text - set it to the "linked-to" page name,
banner name, button name, title name, or custom text. The
Alt-Tag is the text that shows up as the page is loading
and (on some browsers) the text that appears in the onscreen
white box on 'roll-over'.
- Control
the Status Bar text - same choices of text as for the Alt-Tag.
This text appears on the bottom of the page when the image
is 'rolled-over'.
- Set
up 'smart' highlighted images - you can assign the current
page graphic to show a different image than it does on other
pages. You can place RollOver components in the Masterborder
to create a RollOver Nav-Bar with your own custom images.
- Specify
a 'roll-off' delay - this controls how long the external
image will stay changed before it reverts to its original
image. By preventing it from reverting back right away,
you can allow another RollOver to change this graphic's
image without having it flicker. This feature gives your
external RollOvers a much cleaner look.
