October 8, 1997 - Peter Sklar meets with Jim Chen of AudioImages and Andrew Bebe of NetObjects
to discuss creating an Interactive Discovery component for NetObjects Fusion 2.02
November 7, 1997 - Peter Sklar presents new component (now called DataDrill) to San Francisco
NetObjects Fusion users group at AudioImages. DataDrill component converted NetObjects Fusion datalist
into highly interactive database search tool. DataDrill is well received by all, but many people from
the users group ask for other more simpler components like rollover buttons and drop-down lists.
November 20, 1997 - coolmaps.com announces the availablity of DataDrill and RollOver components on
the NetObjects Fusion newsgroups. A couple of sales occur in the first week. The components and the coolmaps.com
support receive immediate praise on the newsgroups.
February 1, 1998 - A couple of other components are introduced, including the highly popular LinkMaster.
