August 6, 1998 - United States patent office issues coolmaps.com's first patent (US05790121) for
its clustering user interface.

August 6, 1998 : The patent is issued
September 23, 1998 - NetObjects begins selling coolmaps.com components live from its website.
January 1, 1999 - The Coolmaps Components Club is launched as an online community for people
who use NetObjects Fusion. Ten components are initially available (RollOver, LinkMaster, TextTree, MetaTagger,
TickerTape2, TitleWave, Confirmer, SiteReporter, Mapper and DataDrill) along with tutorials, inspiration,
contests and interaction ("Ask Granger" and more).

The CCC had arrived
February 7, 1999 - With amazing speed, Matt Carpenter quickly figures out the correct 32 moves
to win the RollOver Challenge.
March 7, 1999 - After 6 months of helping out part-time, Tal Avitzur becomes a full-time member of the coolmaps.com team. Tal will go on
to become ClubMaster and President of coolmaps.com (all without getting a single haircut).
