InForm-Handler is a quick-and-easy way to turn a static web form into an interactive information gathering tool. There is no need to configure PERL scripts, contact your ISP or hire expensive programmers. All you need to do is create a form in Fusion and drop the InForm-Handler service object to your page.
It starts to work right away!

You can configure InForm-Handler to email the form results to multiple recipients, send Auto-Reply emails and send the user to a success page after the form is processed.

Two cool InForm-Handler upgrades:
InForm-Capture: allows you to store the form results in a database and download them at any time into an Excel spreadsheet.
InForm-Release: lets you send out newsletters to all the users who have filled out your form.

Getting Started

IMPORTANT: You must be connected to the internet when setting up InForm-Handler, because configuration is done on a coolmaps.com server, not on your desktop.

While in Page View, select the Service icon from the side toolbar and drag and drop it onto the page. Select coolmaps.com as the Provider and click OK.

If you are a new user then sign up by using the "simple registration form" link that appears on the page. After you submit the form, you will be emailed a password. Use the username you entered and the password to logon to your InForm admin page from the start page. InForm-Handler can be used right away. Just click on the InForm name (which has been set by default to "free trial") and publish.

If you have previously signed up for InForm-Handler, you will be able to choose one by name. When you click on the name, the InForm logo will appear on your page.

Note: The InForm icon is just a placeholder and will not show up on your published page.

Note: InForm-Handler should be placed inside a Form Layout Region. If it is not, then you will get the icon shown at right. You can drag it into a Form Layout Region to remove the red exclamation point.

Note: If your InForm image has a red slash through it, that means that it has expired and you should renew. You can renew by either double-clicking on the icon or clicking on the Configure button on the palette.

To begin administering InForm-Handler and choosing your settings you can either double-click the InForm icon on the Fusion page, or click the Configure button on the InForm properties palette.

Creating Your Form
When creating your form with fields, make sure that your field names don't have spaces or any "unusual" characters. Underscores and numbers are okay.

Note: You may use as many fields as you like in your form. All fields will be emailed to you, if you request email notification. If you choose to purchase the InForm-Capture upgrade to InForm-Handler be aware that only the first 15 form fields will be stored.
