InForm-Capture

Using just InForm-Handler, each time a user fills in a form, the information is sent to a coolmaps.com server which takes that information and emails it back to your site administrator(s). Usually, the site administrator takes the email information and enters it into a spreadsheet for later use.

With InForm-Capture, you can have the coolmaps.com server store the data for you. And when you are ready to use the information, you can download it all at once into an Excel spreadsheet. There is no need to cut and paste from each email, no worries about the form input data getting lost amongst your daily spam. InForm-Capture keeps your data safe and sound and lets you get at it when you are ready for it.

From the InForm-Capture Administration page you enable the InForm-Capture feature and choose whether or not to receive emails with each form submission. To download the information stored on a coolmaps.com server simply click the link corresponding to the format you wish.

If you choose to download the data in Excel format, Excel will automatically start up on your desktop. Cool, eh?.

When enabled, InForm-Capture will store up to 500 form entries. Contact clubmaster if you wish to find out the cost of increasing this capacity.

Note that the coolmaps.com server will only store the first 15 fields from your form, but all fields will be emailed to you, if chosen.

InForm-Release

InForm-Release is the connector between InForm-Handler and coolmaps.com's SendLetter service. To use InForm-Release you must have a field named "EMAIL" in your form. Fields named "lastname" and "firstname" are optional. Here you choose the SendLetter list you wish to populate. If you don't want InForm to populate any list choose "disabled" in the dropdown.
