Now
Entering Vector Sector
In the menu, click "Selections", then "Select None". In the
layer pallette, RIGHT click Layer 1 and choose "New Vector
Layer", then click "OK". Now pick any color from the color
chart (it doesn't matter, we'll hide it later).
Next
choose the "Preset Shapes" tool . In the Tool Options Palette,
enter in the following:
- Shape
Type: Ellipse
- Style:
Stroked
- Line
Width: 2
- Antialias:
checked
- Create
as vector: checked
Move
the cursor to the center of your image and "draw" (click and
drag) to form an ellipse. Make the ellipse almost as long
as your original logo, and just a bit above and below it.
Here's what The KROW's looks like:

Now,
get the "Text" tool, and move the cursor over the top edge
of the ellipse. Watch your cursor....as it moves over the
ellipse. You will see it change to the cross-hairs with the
"A" and a curved line under the "A" (almost looks like a smiley!
:-) Click right there. The "Text" window will pop up.
If
it's not already in the text-enter area, go ahead and type
in "Rentem Bigexecs". Then, just as in Lesson
1, create all your text effects the way you wish. But,
this time choose "Vector" from the "Create As" box, and make
the text size about 18 or 20pt. Then click "OK" for the text.
Notice
you now have 2 logo names on there, but the new one should
be "curved" on the ellipse...like this:
