You're In Style!
Ok,
so here's the part we've all been waiting for! Get our new
graphics into a NOF Site Style!
Be
sure you have all your graphics saved to your harddrive. In
your NOF, go to "Style View". In the menu choose, "Style",
then "New Style". A pop-up will open asking you what you want
to call your style and what other style to base it on. Click
"OK" when done.
You'll
see your new style name in the list of Styles and the graphics
which you based your new style on. Here you edit each of the
graphics on the page by browsing your harddrive and replacing
the current graphics with the new ones you just made. For
example, double click on the first single button. In the pop
up menu, browse to your first new button and click OK. With
that button still highlighted, use the "Primary Button Properties"
box to choose the look of the font you want to sit on the
button. Do this for each of the four buttons you've made.

Further down the page, you'll see the place for your bullets
(NOF calls them "Data List Icons"), but you can use this for
bullets if you're not using a NOF Data List. Also replace
the Site Style Line with the new one you made.
You'll
see a box for "Edit Style Background". Double clicking this
will allow you to put your newly made background (from Lesson
3) into place.
The
only image that's a bit different is the "Banner". When NOF
has a "Banner" on a page, it defaults to placing text onto
the banner which corresponds to the page it's on. Since we
have a custom logo for Mr. Bigexec, you can use this as the
"Banner" and then remove any text in the "Banner Properties"
of that page.
Now
that you know how easy buttons are to make, you can go in
and create "secondary" buttons which NOF can use as well.
Simply make a new set of buttons (often making the same type
buttons, but smaller works well) and place them into the NOF
Site Style you just made.

Now
that you've had a chance to learn some of the basics of Paint
Shop Pro, be sure to get your copy registered! Then you can
continue learning with the upcoming Intermediate and Advanced
Level Modules of the PSP Workshop! The "Image Swap" should
be coming soon as well so keep your eyes open!
