The CCC has components available for NAS 3, NAS 2000 and TeamFusion. Components are sold on a per seat basis. Gold Members receive a free bundle of 10 components: BorderPatrol, Confirmer, FormValidator, LinkMaster, PopRocket, RoboText, RollOver, SiteMap, SlideShow, TickerTape2. These components can be downloaded from your my.components page today. Additional seats sell for $149 each. Please respect this licensing agreement.

Please note:

1) Fusion v4/v5 components will NOT work with NAS or Team Fusion.

2) Not all of the Fusion v4/v5 components are available for NAS3, NAS 2000 and TeamFusion. Only the 10 components listed above. If you purchase any v4/v5 components (including the 10 listed above) they will not work with NAS or Team Fusion. The 10 NAS and Team Fusion components are only available in the bundle.

3) Some of the functionality of the NAS/v3 components may differ from their v4/v5 counterparts. Please contact clubmaster for details.

4) Some Mac browsers may have problems viewing websites created with these components.

ENHANCED COLLABORATIVE PROCESS

Page Review and Edit Workflow
Ensure that any new or modified content on your Web pages is reviewed by the right individuals prior to publishing. The built-in reviewer workflow capability of NetObjects Authoring Server lets you establish an enforceable, formal review process. Only approved pages are published, and others continue in the task-oriented workflow process.

Instant Messaging
Any member of a site team can send a message to another using the TeamFusion Client. It's a quick and easy way to send messages to one another without relying on other software or forms of communication. No more voice mail or email delays when you need to work on a checked-out element of the site.

ENHANCED ADMINISTRATION

Scheduled Site Backup
With NetObjects Authoring Server recurring tasks such as site backup are automated for hands-free processing. You can schedule a site backup based on a predetermined frequency such as: once, daily, weekly, etc.

Site History and Versioning
Now administrators can monitor and track site events with built-in Site History. NetObjects Authoring Server automatically tracks such events as backup, restore, publish, check-in, and approvals.

LDAP/NDS User Authentication
Administrators can use the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) or Novell Directory Services (NDS) directory, as well as the Windows NT domain, in addition to the built-in NetObjects Authoring Server Suite 2000 user and authentication model. This simplifies the process of importing user lists and centralizes user logon authentication. By leveraging existing directories, administrators significantly ease the task of user and team management.

MULTI-SITE MANAGEMENT

Shared Assets
Building multiple sites within the NetObjects Authoring Server Suite 2000 environment is further streamlined with the ability to use common assets shared across multiple sites. Examples include: images and logos, automated scripts, links, text assets, data access objects, or any other NetObjects Authoring Server site asset.

Virtual Page Links
Dividing a parent site among multiple child site projects is a common way to simplify the process of managing large projects. Now site structures can feature 'virtual' pages. These page links are included in the automatic site navigation links that are maintained by the Authoring Server.

SIMPLIFIED PUBLISHING

Scheduled Publishing
Publishing your site can now be created as an automated task, further simplifying the administrator's role in managing the site. In the same way as scheduled backup, you schedule a designated publish configuration on a user-defined frequency such as: once, daily, weekly, etc.

Mirror Publishing
Many Web sites are mirrored on multiple servers for load distribution and to optimize page serving for widely dispersed access. Now NetObjects Authoring Server sites can be published to all mirrors in a single pass. This simplifies the publishing process, and significantly reduces the possibility of site inconsistency across mirror images.

PERFORMANCE

Symmetric Multiple Processor Support (SMP)
Further tune NetObjects Authoring Server performance by assigning demanding server tasks, such as publishing and user sessions, to dedicated processors.
