Hands
On
AutoEye
is exceptionally fast and easy to use. The install is straightforward
and within minutes you are correcting images, or sitting back
while AutoEye does it for you.
AutoEye
can be accessed from the Filters menu in Photoshop, or run
as a standalone application. This is a cool move by AutoFX
- not everyone runs Photoshop or an application that supports
Photoshop plugins.
 AutoEye
has two modes - Automatic and Manual. When Automatic
is chosen, AutoEye uses AutoFX's patented IVIT technology
to optimize the image.
AutoEye
analyzes each image and optimizes accordingly.
How
good a job does Auto mode do? We put twelve scanned
images through on Auto mode as well as several from a digital
camera - the results were impressive, with all images showing
a noticable improvement i.e. tonal range, color balance, saturation,
sharpness.
