Notice the looking glass below. See anything special about it? Well, yes, it just so happens to be the icon for Quick View Plus. But, do you see anything else? ......You will

“Old MacDonald Had a Farm.....”

E-I-E-I-OHHH! (sorry, I couldn’t resist). So, what does Old Mac’s farm and your computer have in common? Plenty! Does this sound familiar....."here a program, there a program, everywhere a program, program".....? (Ok, so Old Mac’s a little new-age now. Give ’im a break).

Ol' Mac and his farm of computer programs"......with an email here, and a spreadsheet there, an acrobat here, and a presentation there, a movie-player here, and a zipper there, here a .dll, there a .dll, everywhere a .dll, .dll."

Point here is, Old Mac found his computer turned into something like his farm where, one program soon led to another, which was a completely different animal all together! Old Mac knewMiss Mary he had to change his tune a bit! Problem was, he needed all those different programs just to do simple things on his computer like read his email and save the movie Miss Mary sent him. (Miss Mary owns the farm down the road from Mac. She just had to show him a movie of her garden growing.)

Your computer is probably a lot like Mac’s. Loaded with different programs, it’s continually being bombarded with upgrades, patches, and whatever the latest greatest thing is out there. It’s a job just to keep up with it all! And we won’t even get into the $$$ we’ve all spent just to be able to view stuff! So, what’s an Old Mac to do? Click his heels (err...his mouse, rather), and be glad they have Quick View Plus ......even in Kansas! And thanks to JASC, you can download an evaluation of Quick View Plus right now! Click here to get it!

“For Once, A Gem That Comes Already Polished!”

There are a number of products out there that will help you view files of different types. But none of them can beat Quick View Plus for its functionality! Just like other products JASC carries, Quick View Plus is simple to use, has a short learning curve, and is a very stable program. It’s The KROW’s fav! Here’s just a few reasons why:

  • Supports over 200 file formats
  • You can view email attachments instantly, without having to buy “outside” software
  • As the default viewer, it can work as a sheild against macro viruses
  • It lets you view files from programs you don’t even have on your computer
  • Installs clean and is simple to learn and navigate
  • It has seamless integration with poplular email and browsers
  • You can create and extract zip files right inside of the program (no other zipper needed!)
  • You can copy, paste and print viewed files
  • Files are easy to find with the “Find” feature
  • Launch applications making files ready for editing
  • Hosts most multimedia plug-ins
  • More!

One of the most appealing features of Quick View Plus is the types of files it does support. Most of you probably have all the “common” viewers, readers, and editors out there. But, what about more specialized programs? As technology has grown, so has the number of unique file types! Well, believe it or not, Quick View Plus supports Visio, Corel Draw 6-8, WordPerfect, Office 2000, Kodak FlashPix, Lotus, and ....(get this.....) AutoCAD DXE!! Click here to view a list of all the file types supported.

”The Comfort Of The Familiar”

Being a creature of habit, Old Mac was glad to know Quick View Plus looks much like the Windows Explorer too! Browse files on your system just like in the Explorer, but save all the time of opening a bunch of different applications just to see what’s in the files!

“I Spy With My Little Eye”

Take a look at that screenshot above. You’ll see on the bottom, left pane of the window, a “Word” doc is highlighted. And in the large right pane, is the view of the Word doc. Now, look again at the bottom, left pane. See there, it also shows 2 zip files, and a Corel wpd file. Now, does Quick View Plus really think we’re going to be able to open this stuff? Here? INSIDE Quick View Plus? Ummm...in an Old Mac word......"YUP!"
