This is the third lesson in a series of Photoshop tutorials intended for beginning to intermediate users. In the last lesson we created the shape shown in Fig. 1 in our goal to create Fig. 2.

Now we create the face. Just as we laid out guides for our original circle, we will do the same for the face. Create two
new horizontal guides at 120y and 280y, as shown in Fig. 3. They contain the inner circle which will become the face of the watch. The left and right guides are already
there from when we created the rectangular part of the bezel. Create a new layer and draw your circle in the guides (start at (220, 120) and drag down to (380, 280)). Stroke the
selection by right clicking on the selection and selecting ‘Stroke’. All of these drawings are just for reference. In the next part of the tutorial we will fill these with textures to
create a more realistic image. Save the circle selection you just made as ‘Face’.
