What services do you offer?
Unique, sexy, comfy socks are the base of my business. My best friend has somewhat of a foot fetish so I was enlightened early on to the marketing potential of this under-rated body part. The trick has been to take something as ordinary as socks and make them appear extraordinary. Thanks to the power of Paint Shop Pro and Fusion, my camera and I have been able to make it happen.

What you like most about the web?
E-mail from my Gramma, the ability to stay in touch with people I otherwise probably would not, and [of course] being able to research anything that occurs to me without leaving the room.

What you like least about the web?
Pop-ups & viruses.

What for you is the most useful web technology?
This isn't web exclusive, but definitely for me the whole reason I got a computer was to manipulate my photos without a darkroom or chemicals.

Why do you use Fusion?
Ease of use. I'm a "get to the verb" kind of person, when I want to do something I want to do it now, not spend a ton of time learning how to do it. Plus they have an outstanding newsgroup, with it I've been able to recognize areas where I can improve my own site and when I need help several people are usually quick to suggest solutions.

Your favorite web sites?
There are so many to choose from! Google is at the top of the list for certain. They still don't charge for listings so they give back fairly accurate results when you are in need and they tend to give my site high rankings based on actual text content. National Geographic would be another, their pictures nearly come to life on my monitor giving me a feeling of intimacy with the subjects as if I'm actually there. Yahoo, because with it I can check all of my e-mail accounts from any computer. My local news station, KGW keeps their site very current, if I see smoke billowing in the sky I can log on and find out whats going on within minutes (yes, it really happened). And, of course, my own site because she is like a child to me, living, breathing, growing and learning. I put everything I know into her development. When she isn't feeling well I do everything I can to help her get better. Haha! Some people anthropomorphize their pets, me, I do it with my site. Which brings me to a sixth and final site I love, dictionary.com, quicker than flipping pages, more current than the copy on my shelf and it can save you from being hyper analyzed by your e-mail buddies. Well, no it can't, but it can save you from grossly misusing words.

Do you think the web will change the world?
No, but I do think it will help enable the world to bring change upon itself.

What do you do for fun?
I love cooking, puttering about my garden and spending time with my critters. (My dog resents how much attention I give the computer while my cat thinks it's quality time for the two of us.) And this, this was fun, thank you for letting me be a part of it!!!
