RollOver
Targeting 101
One
of the key features of RollOver is its ability to target
other images on the page. Alas, it's also one of the trickier
features and that, we'll assume, is the reason why you're
here.
The
goal of this tutorial is to have you creating once seemingly
impossible targeting RollOvers with the ease and confidence
of a seasoned professional!
What
is a RollOver?
A RollOver is merely an image that when passed over with
your cursor, changes into another image. This ability can
lend itself to some pretty cool effects.
Let's
say you're a medieval alchemist. Your goal is to turn lead
into gold:

Move
your cursor over the lead bar.
You're
may be saying at this point "Duh, even I knew that!
Get to the point already!"
So,
what about Targeting?
Targeting, in contrast to a simple RollOver, would be
to have Merlin perform the the task of turning lead into gold
through the use of his magic:

Move
your cursor over Merlin.
If
you roll your cursor over Merlin, you will notice the lead
bar, above, turn gold. That's
all targeting is! One image, when rolled over, changing another.
