There
are three parts to MagicWindow. A scroll area, an up button,
and a down buttton. The up and down buttons control the up/down
movement of the document in the scroll area.
In order for MagicWindow to work properly you'll need to create
an instance of each part. To do that, drop three MagicWindow
objects on a page and through the properties palette, configure
them for which part they'll operate as.
The
Type option in the palette lists each of the three
parts.

Important
Usage Notes
- MagicWindow
is only capable of displaying ONE page, and not multiple
pages. A frames page is composed of multiple pages tied
together through a frameset page. If you choose a frames
page to be displayed in MagicWindow you will get an empty
MagicWindow. If you want the page to show in MagicWindow
then you must open your site, remove the frames from that
page, and publish it. Then select the newly published page
to be displayed in MagicWindow.
- Only
one MagicWindow can be placed on a page.
- MagicWindow
will not automatically update when you update the page that displays
in the MagicWindow. You must republish the MagicWindow page for it to be updated.
- MagicWindow
will not work if you have site settings set to CSS.
