Want to play MP3 files on your web page or just about any other media file?

MediaPlayer is a Fusion v4/5/MX/7 component that allows you to easily embed the Windows Media Player into your web pages and allows the setting of all the Player parameters.

The MediaPlayer supports a wide range of Media formats including:

  • Microsoft Windows Media formats File name extensions: .avi, .asf, .asx, .rmi, .wav, .wma, .wax
  • Moving Pictures Experts Group (MPEG) File name extensions: .mpg, .mpeg, .m1v, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .mpe
  • Apple QuickTime®, Macintosh® AIFF Resource File name extensions: .qt, .aif, .aifc, .aiff, .mov
  • UNIX formats File name extensions: .au, .snd

Getting started with MediaPlayer is easy!

  • Run the installation program. Check the box next to the version(s) of Fusion that you have installed on your machine (4/5/MX/7).
  • Launch Fusion.
  • If the coolmaps.com component toolbar is not visible choose View > Toolbars > Component Tools > coolmaps.com components
  • Select the MediaPlayer component and drag out an area on the page (this graphic does not appear on the published page).

The MediaPlayer Properties now appear in Fusion's Properties palette.
