Usage Notes
The end user determines which file types are handled by MediaPlayer
or other applications.
Netscape
users must have the Windows Media Player plugin installed.
If it is not installed, the Plugin icon is displayed which
when clicked takes the user to the Media Player download page
at Microsoft.
Hiding
the Media Player
Option 1. Set the height and width to a small value
Note: MSIE supports 0 pixel width and 0 pixel height. Netscape
requires a minimum width and height of 2 pixels for the Player
to be displayed and function correctly.
Option 2. Place the Media Player in a layer set to 'Not
Visible'
Drag out a Layout Region and place it on the page. With
it selected go the Actions Properties Palette and uncheck
'Object initially visible in Browser'. Select the MediaPlayer
component and place it within the Layout Region. Set the MediaPlayer
options as per normal in the Component Properties Palette.
