Number
of Passwords
Choose the number of unique passwords you would like to have.
(You may have up to 20 passwords.) This will open up the same
number of boxes for you to enter the passwords.
Password
#X
Enter the password - we would recommend no spaces or non-english
characters in the password. Also note that the password is
case sensitive.
Password
Prompt
Enter the text that you would like to appear to prompt the
user for the password. (Do not use quotation marks or other
"non-javascript-frienly" characters in the text.)
Error
Page
Select a page that will be displayed if the visitor enters
an incorrect password. You MUST enter a page name here or you will receive an error.
Create
Index Page
If your server allows users to browse directories, this option
enables you to create an index page (the page that shows up
when a url contains just a directory - no file). Usually this
page is named index.html (the default). So, by creating an
index.html page, you can make it so that no one will be able
to browse your directory. And, if no one can browse your directory,
they will not be able to know the filenames contained within.
Index
Page Name
If "Create Index Page" is selected, this option lets you override
the default index.html name with the name that is specific
to your server.
Once
the palette options are configured the Post Publish ProtectIt
component must be enabled.
- Choose
Publish View > Publish > Publish Components
- Check
the ProtectIt option.
