ReDirector redirects site visitors based on Browser, Screen Resolution, Operating System, Color Depth, Flash Enabled Browser.

Where the redirection is not supported by a v3 browsers it is recommended a text link be placed on the detection page for these users to click.

Note that only ONE type redirection should be used per page.

Version
This will help you identify if you are using the most recent version. It is only a memo and is not changeable. If you have any support questions please supply this version number.

Browser Type
With Browser Type selected the following options are available:

• Default page - nominate a page to be used if no URL is specified for a detection in the Properties palette
• Netscape 4 - specify a URL
• Internet Explorer 4 - specify a URL
• WebTV - specify a URL
• AOL - specify a URL
• Opera - specify a URL
• Version 3 Browsers - specify a URL
• Netscape 6 - specify a URL
• Internet Explorer 5 - specify a URL
• Internet Explorer 6 - specify a URL

The same page may be specified for more than one browser type. AOL redirection may be unreliable - this is a AOL bug.

Browser detection is compatible with v3 browsers and up.

Screen Size
With Screen Size selected the following options are available:

• Default page - nominate a page to be used if no URL is specified for a detection in the Properties palette
• 640x480 - specify a URL
• 800x600 - specify a URL
• 1024x768 - specify a URL
• greater than 1024x768 - specify a URL

The same page may be specified for more than one screen size.

Screen Size detection is not supported by v3 browsers. Placement of a text link on the detection page for v3 users is recommended.

Operating System
With Operating System selected the following options are available:

• Default page - nominate a page to be used if no URL is specified for a detection in the Properties palette
• Windows - specify a URL
• Mac - specify a URL
• Linux - specify a URL
• OS/2 - specify a URL

The same page may be specified for more than one operating system.

Operating system detection is NS3 compatible.

Color Depth
With Color Depth selected the following options are available:

• Default page - nominate a page to be used if no URL is specified for a detection in the Properties palette
• 256 color - specify a URL
• Greater than 256 color - specify a URL

The same page may be specified for more than one color depth.

Color Depth detection is not supported by v3 browsers. Placement of a text link on the detection page for v3 users is recommended.

Flash
With Flash selected the following options are available:

• Default page - nominate a page to be used if no URL is specified for a detection in the Properties palette
• Flash - specify a URL
• No Flash - specify a URL
