TagFix 5.0 corrects a popular power user link target shortcut
that no longer works in Fusion v5.0. TagFix is free*
to all users of NetObjects Fusion.
To
create a targeted link users could use this shortcut in the
External Link dialogue:
http://www.mydomain.com"
target="_mytarget
On
generating the page, Fusion previously added the beginning
and ending " to close the link e.g.
"http://www.mydomain.com"
target="_mytarget"
Job
Done! Unfortunately this is broken in Fusion v5.0. The resulting
code that Fusion generates is:
"http://www.mydomain.com'
target='_blank"
This
results in a broken link. Enter Coolmaps TagFix 5.0!
NOTE:
This component is for NetObjects Fusion v5.0. It is not required
in Fusion v4.01.
To
get started with TagFix:

Run the TagFix Installation program, specifying the location
of Fusion 4.0/5.0's component directory.
- Launch
Fusion
TagFix
is a 'post publish' component. It does not appear on the coolmaps.com
component bar in Page view. TagFix is enabled in Publish View.
- Choose
Publish View > Publish > Publish Components
When
Fusion generates your site, TagFix (when activated) will parse
the code and correct every instance of the broken link shortcut.
