Select an image to be used. After selecting, the image can be resized either by manipulating it with the resize handles or by the Size Thumbnail option, explained below.

Custom Thumbnail - No | Yes
Select whether to use a custom thumbnail or not. If set to "Yes", select the custom thumbnail using the Thumbnail Image option in the palette. Note: If you're using a custom thumbnail, the thumbnail will not be resizeable.

Alt Text - optional
Enter alternative text for the image.

Window Status - optional
Enter text to be displayed in the browser window's status bar when the thumbnail is moused over.

Display Type - PopUp | CoolTips
If CoolTips is installed, this option will be visible allowing for a CoolTips style display of the full sized image. If CoolTips is not installed, this option is not present and neither are the CoolTips options detailed below.

Display Type - PopUp

• PopUp Name - optional
  Provide a name if you wish to have the full sized image open in an existing window of the same name. If a name is entered, no spaces or funny characters allowed. Note: This is not the popup window title. The name you enter here is used only as an internal reference by the browser; the name is completely transparent to site visitors.
• PopUp Title
  Enter the title for the popup window. This is the text that will appear in the title bar of the popup window.
• PopUp Type onClick | onMouseOver
  Select whether the PopUp will be initialized when the thumbnail is clicked or moused over.

  PopUp Type - onMouseOver

  • onMouseOff - Close Window | Void
    Set to Close Window, the PopUp window will automatically close when the user mouses off the thumbnail image. Set to Void, the PopUp window will remain open until it is closed by either the user or one of the two following options.
    


• PopUp onBlur - Void | Close Window
  Select whether or not the popup window will close automatically when it is no longer selected.
• PopUp onClick - Void | Close Window
  Select whether or not the popup window will close when it is clicked by the user.

Display Type - CoolTips*

• Preload Full Size Image? - No | Yes
  Select whether the full sized image should be downloaded from the server when the page loads or when the thumbnail image is moused over/clicked.
• PopUp Type - onClick | onMouseOver
  Select whether the full sized image should be displayed when the thumbnail is clicked or moused over.

Thumbnail Size - By Percentage | By Height | By Width
Select a method for sizing the thumbnail image. Using one of these three options will insure that the image retain original proportions.

• Thumbnail Percentage
  Scales the thumbnail to a specific percentage.
• Thumbnail Height
  Enter the desired height for the thumbnail and the proportionate width will automatically be configured.
• Thumbnail Width
  Enter the desired width for the thumbnail and the proportionate height will automatically be configured.

New in v5.07 and later!
Use the Custom Positioning option in the properties palette to specify exact coordinate values for the popup window. Set the Left and Top values as desired.

*CoolTips functionality info:

• A CoolTips script object must reside on the current page. If there is already an instance of a CoolTips script object, do not drop another one. If there is not an instance of a CoolTips script object on the page, drop one now.
• The "coolmaps.com Publish Component" must be activated.
• Refer to the CoolTips tutorial for further help.

If using CoolTips functionality with ThumbsUp, be sure to activate the "coolmaps.com Publish Component."

• Choose Publish View > Publish > Publish Components
• Check 'coolmaps.com Publish Component'
